Using Pictures as a Screen Saver

Instead of using screen savers provided by Windows XP, you can use your own pictures to create a slide show screen saver. Windows displays all the pictures in a folder that you create as a full screen slide show. You can add or remove pictures from the folder to modify the slide show.

Use Pictures as a Screen Saver

Click the Start button, and then click My Documents.

Create a folder, and then place the pictures you want to use in the slide show in the folder.

Right-click a blank area of the desktop, and then click Properties.

Click the Screen Saver tab.

Click the Screen Saver list arrow, and then click My Pictures Slideshow.

Click Settings.

Click Browse, select the folder with your pictures, and then click OK.

Specify the size and for how long you want the pictures to appear in the slide show, and then click OK.

Click OK.

Click Preview, and then click the mouse to stop it.
