Summary


This appendix introduced some basic commands to get you started with a DB2 database. Creation and manipulation of DB2 instances, databases, buffer pools, table spaces, and tables were demonstrated. Some basic scripting and command options were also discussed. At this point, you should be able to set up a DB2 database to work with the examples shown in this book.
