This chapter has shown how clean and easy it is to write an e-commerce application using ASP.NET. The rich server side control and event model makes ASP.NET development much more like traditional Visual Basic event based programming, which dramatically reduces the amount of code you have to write.

The chapter has not had the space to cover every single feature that you could potentially use in an application in this chapter. Hopefully, however, the code presented here covers the most common aspects of an application, and when combined with the information provided in the other chapters, will give you the confidence to build your own applications.
