Recording and Playing Scripts with Different Brushes

[ LiB ]

One of the really amazing features of scripts is that you can record a script using one type of brush, and then play it back using a different brush. For example, you can record a script of a pencil drawing, and then have it play back using chalk, ink, or any other brush you want. However, not all scripts can be played back using different brushes. To create a script that will allow you to change the brush on playback, you must turn off the Record Initial State option when you create the script.

Creating a Script That You Can Play with a Different Brush

The only difference between creating a regular script and one that can be played back with a different brush is that the Record Initial State option must be turned off to create a script that can be played back with a different brush.

Playing a Script Using a Different Brush

To play a script using a different brush than the one with which it was originally created, you simply have to select the script and then select the desired brush.
