The first step in using Resin HardCore is to configure and compile the module. You begin by executing ./configure within the Resin source directory using one or both of these options:
--with-linux-src=<source directory> --enable-linux-smp
The first option, which is required, specifies the path to the current kernel source files. If your kernel is designed for multiprocessor operation, include the second option.
At this point, compile the resulting makefile with the make command. After the make completes, locate the file called resin.o in the /libexec directory of the Resin installation. This is the kernel file you need to associate with Linux.
