While working your way through this book, you will have installed a number of applications for which launchers are not automatically created. This is especially true of applications you compiled yourself from source. For your convenience, I have included the commands and icon locations for such launcher-less applications so that you can create launchers yourself if you want to (as you learned to do in Chapter 3).
Command: pywings.py
Icon: /home/username/LocalApps/pywings/icon.xbm
Command: pyching.py
Icon: /home/username/LocalApps/pyching/pyching.png
Command: xmahjongg
Icon: none
Note | There is no specific application icon for Xmahjongg, so you can create your own or just use /usr/share/icons/Bluecurve/48x48/apps/gnome-mahjongg.png, which is the icon for the GNOME mahjongg game. |
Command: /home/username/RealPlayer9/realplay
Icon: /home/rg/RealPlayer9/realplay.xpm
Command: pfaedit
Icon: none
Note | There is no specific application icon for PfaEdit, so you can create your own or just use /usr/share/icons/Bluecurve/48x48/apps/fonts.png. |
