Uninstalling Eclipse

If you ever decide to uninstall Eclipse, you can simply delete the /eclipse directory. (There is no uninstaller, at least for version 3.1.2, which was used in this chapter.)

If you happen to use the default workspace (that is, you did not specify a workspace during Eclipse startup), you might want to back up your project files prior to deleting the /eclipse directory because project files belonging to the default workspace are stored under this /eclipse directory.
