Excel s analysis features are very powerful. The PivotTable is awesome in its ability to analyze and format cross-tabbed data. What-if analysis is made easier with data tables, allowing you to see multiple results using several inputs. Goal Seek is a way to solve for one of the parameters in a function. Excel has even more analytical tools, and these will get you started.

Also included in the advanced category are using templates and automating macros. These help standardize your spreadsheets.

Finally, you can add shapes and graphics to make your worksheets really stand out.
