Flash MX is a vector-based application. Its major building blocks include symbols, the Timeline, frames , and layers . The Library houses all symbols created within a document, and the Timeline houses all frames and layers. There are three behavior types of symbols: movie clips, graphics, and buttons . The guide layer and mask layer are two forms of specialized layers.
