Connecting to the Master Application

When Reason starts in Slave mode all 64 ReWire channels are available to send audio to the Master application; however, the Master application must be set up to receive audio from these channels. Since there are several applications that can be ReWire Masters, it is hard to provide a generic description of how to set up a Master. However, below is a brief description of the applications that can be ReWire Masters, along with information about setting them up to receive audio through the ReWire channels.

Cubase SX/SL and Nuendo

For users of Cubase SX/SL and Nuendo:

Sonar 2.0

If you use Sonar 2.0:
