What's on the CD

The CD-ROM accompanying Mastering Dreamweaver MX Databases includes trial versions of four of Macromedia's most popular software tools:

• Dreamweaver MX for both Windows and Macintosh platforms

• Flash MX for both Windows and Macintosh platforms

• Fireworks MX for both Windows and Macintosh platforms

• ColdFusion Server for both Windows and Macintosh platforms

Finally, the CD includes sample database tables, scripts, and related files you can use as you try out examples throughout the book. These files are included for your convenience. Although we feel entering the scripts yourself will add to your learning experience, it isn't necessary. Feel free to use the scripts and files on the CD. Or, you might want to view the finished technique before you attempt to create it yourself. Finally, if you try, but your script simply won't work, use ours and move on. Chances are the problem is just a simple typo that you can't find, and that's not a good reason to hold up your learning experience.

Note 

Throughout the book, the character _ appearing at the end of code lines in some listings marks a break introduced by the publisher to fit the printed page width; it is not part of the actual source code. The source code files on the CD do not have these introduced line breaks or _ characters.
