Types of Threats

Numerous threats can wreak havoc on your computer system. When people think of securing their computer systems, many think that they just need to protect themselves from computer viruses or hackers. They tend to forget that there's also an intrusion route through their own office, either intentional or accidental. Types of internal and external threats include:

Intentional threats Computer viruses, theft, hacking (or cracking), vandalism, arson

Natural threats Floods, fire, lightning, tornadoes, and earthquakes
