Opening a Page


Opening a page is straightforward; you'll usually want to use Dreamweaver's Files panel. You can also use the File menu or the Start Page if you like.

To open a page:

1.
In the Files panel, find the page you want to open, and double-click it.

The page opens.

or

Choose File > Open, or press Ctrl-O (Cmd-O).

The Open dialog appears ( Figure 3.25 ).

Navigate to the file, select it, and click Open.

The file opens in a new window (or in a new tab, if you already have open windows ).

Tip

  • If you want to open up a page that you worked on recently, find the page in the Open a Recent Item category in the Start Page, and click it.
