Working with the Files Panel

To work with the files and folders that make up your Web sites, you'll use Dreamweaver's Files panel. This panel allows you to add and delete files and folders; view and change the local or remote sites; and do other maintenance tasks for your sites.

The Files panel appears at the right side of the Dreamweaver window, docked with other panels. By default, the Files panel is at the bottom of the group of panels. The panel consists of a couple of pop-up menus , a toolbar, and the files area below ( Figure 2.13 ).
