Now that you have activated your digital editions account, you are ready to start downloading digital editions to your computer, laptop, or PDA. Go to Adobe's digital editions website and browse through the many selections available. You can do a full search for a particular digital edition or browse the various genres, such as mystery, fiction , or poetry. Also available on the Adobe site are links to digital edition/eBook retail sites. | 1. | Open My Digital Editions
From the Advanced menu, under the Digital Editions submenu, select the My Digital Editions command. This opens the My Digital Editions window. The My Digital Editions window shows all the digital editions currently in your library.
| | 2. | Access the Digital Edition Site
While in the My Digital Editions window, click the Adobe Digital Media Store button. This opens a web browser window to the Adobe Digital Media Store web page.
| | 3. | Search for Digital Editions You can do a quick search by keyword or author's name or, if you have a specific book you are looking for, you can do an advanced search. In an advanced search, you can search by book title, author name , ISBN, language, publisher, subject, or even price. If you would rather just browse the various genres, click one of the selections under the Browse by Subject section.  | TIP  | As your digital editions library grows, you might want to organize the digital editions into categories so they are easier to find. The My Digital Editions window contains predefined categories from which you can choose, such as Fiction, History, Mystery, and Romance, plus the option to create or edit a category. Simply select Edit Categories from the drop-down menu in the My Digital Editions window and either select an existing category to edit or enter a new one in the blank text box. |
