Full Screen mode displays a PDF file on a black background with only the document showing. That means no windows , menus , or floating palettes appear, just the document as you would see it as a slide. In addition to presentations, you can use Full Screen mode to see how your PDF will look when printed or used as a web page with no distracting menus or palettes.

1.
Enter Full Screen Mode

From the Window menu or the View menu (the command appears in both menus), select the Full Screen command. You can also use the ( -L ) [ Ctrl+L ] keyboard shortcut. Acrobat hides the application interface and displays the document only, set against a black background.

TIP

A new feature added to Acrobat 7 is a full-screen toggle icon located in the bottom-left corner of the document window. Click the icon to view the PDF presentation in full screen mode. To exit full screen mode and return to the regular viewing mode, either press ( -L ) [ Ctrl+L ] or press the Esc key.

2.
View the Presentation

Use the right arrow, down arrow , or Page Down key to advance from one page/slide to the next . Use the left arrow, up arrow , or Page Up key to return to the previous slide. You can also left-click to advance to the next slide and right-click (Windows) or Ctrl -click (Mac OS) to return to the previous slide.

3.
Exit Full Screen Mode

Press the Esc key to exit Full Screen mode and return to the normal Acrobat interface. You can also exit the full screen mode by left-clicking to bring up a menu. Click Exit Full Screen to exit back to Acrobat.
