Besides enabling you to convert documents to PDF format, Acrobat also enables you to make changes to the PDF, such as inserting, deleting, moving, cropping pages, renumbering pages, adding headers and footers, and making minor modifications to text. In general, combining and modifying pages can be done in Acrobat, but any major content changessuch as significant text edits or major modifications to the page layoutshould always be done in the original authoring application and to the original source documents.

NOTE

New to Acrobat 7: The Pages, Set Page Transitions, Insert Pages, Extract Pages, Replace Pages, Delete Pages, Crop Pages , and Rotate Pages commands are located in the main Documents menu, rather than being contained in a separate Pages submenu as they were in Acrobat 6.
