Chapter 4. Requirements Definition

In this chapter we use the abundance of information gathered during the business modeling activities (from Chapter 3 and as shown in Appendix A) to define the system we are building. In this way, we will develop the overall requirements definition of the system to ensure we understand the needs of our customers ”both internal (the business sponsors responsible for building the system) and external (the end users of the system). This understanding will then be expressed as requirements against which we can plan, build, and test the system.
