New Features in Access 2003

In the Professional editions of the Office System, Access 2003 shares the XML support available throughout other Office applications in the Enterprise and Professional packages. Now you can easily import and export data in XML. Other new features in Access 2003 include:

• New smart tags point out potential errors in your databases.

• Simplified linked table copying makes it easier to copy a relational table from one database to another.

• New database backup feature enables you to create a regular backup of your entire database by choosing a menu selection.

• A new feature makes it easy to identify dependencies in relational tables, helping you see how modifications will affect all aspects of your data.
