Printing Your Calendar

Having all your appointments, events, tasks , and meetings on your desktop is a great convenience, but there will be times when you re away from your desk and out of reach of a laptop, and you ll need a reminder to advise you of what s coming next . (Of course, don t overlook how easy it is to sychronize your Pocket PC or Tablet PC with your Outlook data, so you always have what you need on the go.) If you prefer to do things the old-fashioned, ink-and- paper way, you can print your Outlook Calendar in several different styles:

  • Daily Style prints a listing of all scheduled appointments in a day s time.

  • Weekly Style prints the entire week in a two-column format.

  • Monthly Style prints the calendar in traditional monthly format.

  • Tri-fold Style displays a three-column format with the daily calendar on the left, the Tasks list in the center, and the weekly calendar on the right.

  • Calendar Detail prints only the items you have scheduled for the current day.

To print your calendar, click the Print tool on the Outlook toolbar. In the Print dialog box, select the printer you want to use, then click the Print Style that fits the look you want. Specify a Start date and an End date for the calendar entries you want to print, and enter the Number Of Copies you need. Finally, click Preview to see how the calendar will look before you print it. If everything looks good, click Print in the Preview window to display the Print dialog box a second time, and click OK to begin printing.
