Outlook is a multi-featured program that enables you to organize your appointments, tasks , e-mail, journal entries, and more.
Instant messaging in Outlook enables you to trade short, fast messages with others who are currently online.
The Outlook window is organized into three columns to help make the most of on-screen space. The Navigation pane on the left in all views enables you to choose what you want to work with at any given time.
When you want to create a new message, click Inbox on the Outlook Shortcut bar; then click New. When the new message window appears, enter the recipient in the To line, type a Subject and the body text of the message; then click Send.
Attach a file to an e-mail message by choosing File from the Insert menu. Find the file you want to send, click it, and click Insert to attach the file. You can use the new Shared Attachment feature in Outlook to create a document workspace and make sure coworkers have the most current version of the shared document.
