• Slide Sorter view enables you to organize your slides and add transition, animation, and timing effects.

• You use the Animation Schemes feature to apply animation features to the text and objects on individual slides.

• The Custom Animation task pane gives you what you need to animate individual objects on your slides.

• The Slide Transition task pane contains everything you need for controlling the way one slide disappears and the next appears.

• You can add sound effects to your slide transitions by choosing the sound you want from the Sounds list in the Slide Transition task pane.

• You can advance slides manually (by clicking the mouse button, or pressing Enter, or any arrow key), automatically, or a combination of the two.

• Click Rehearse Timings to go through the slide show and record the time used to display animated elements and advance to the next slide. You have the option of accepting these settings over any you entered on the Slide Transition task pane.

• Add Speaker Notes to help others who might be giving your presentation know how to present certain slides. (Of course, you may also find this helpful if you have a long presentation or tend to get nervous ”Speaker Notes can prompt you if your mind goes blank.)
