Conclusion

Well, we've covered a massive amount of ground in this chapter. If all this was new to you, your head is probably swimming and you're not sure which way is up. If that's the case, relax. The rest of the book is packed with examples of everything you've learned so far. And you can always refer back to this chapter if something in the future doesn't make sense to you. If you forget how the precedence of logical operators works, for example, you can simply flip back here to refresh your memory.

As I look forward to what we will cover in the next chapter, I get excited. We have more ActionScript elements to talk about, including functions, scope, references, and properties. And as soon as that's done, we'll be into our first full- sized creation. I can almost smell the Martian invaders and fire- breathing dragons. We're very close now!
