The final source of information on Flash is the ActionScript Dictionary. This tome is nearly 500 pages long and is a complete reference to Flash's scripting language: ActionScript. For your convenience, large parts of this reference are printed in Appendix A of this book.
If at any time you require the exact syntax and use of an ActionScript element, you can look it up in the ActionScript Dictionary to get an explicit explanation of the element's use. This will all make sense when we start programming in ActionScript in Chapters 2 and 3. For now, just be aware that this is your primary reference tool for Flash after this book.
