Final Thoughts


There is a lot to learn in .NET, especially if you're going to do Web programming. You will need to learn one of the .NET languages first. Here is how I learned .NET. First I learned the language, then the base class libraries, and finally all the Web-specific things. Learning C# is half the battle. It's easy to switch from C# to other languages like VB.NET and you will find that a lot of .NET features are tailored for C#. So you're making a very good choice in spending time to learn the C# language. Have fun!
