Summary

In this chapter we learned how to use packages in Java as well as create our own packages. Then we looked over some of the useful classes within the standard packages. Finally we covered how to handle errors within your applications and applets. In the next chapter you will learn how streams and files work in Java. We will look at retrieving keyboard entries in the console window, allowing us to take a look at making a simple console game of tic-tac-toe.
