39.5. Summary

1. A custom runner enables Fit to be used with test data in any format.

2. We have looked at two simple custom runners, SumRunner and XlsSumRunner, to illustrate how to run tests from plaintext and spreadsheet files.

3. The custom runners make use of the FitLibrary class CustomRunner to manage most of the details of creating internal Fit tables and running them.
