At the end of the day you need your project to sound as good (or better) than it looks. Getting your audio to sound just right can go a long way toward enhancing the production value of your projects. Because you now know how to monitor your audio and because you know the three different ways to adjust it, your audio levels should now be in much better shape. Keep the overall levels of your tracks' audio adjusted so that the sound is loud enough, but not too loud. It may help you to set your timeline to Audio Units display mode, which shows audio samples instead of video frames. The Audio Units display can help you zoom into your waveform in the monitors or timeline to see better what information is revealed. Because you can assign clip and track effects separately, you can add more depth and diversity to the sound in your timeline. The next chapter, on the other hand, will help you add more depth to your titles and graphics by introducing the Premiere Pro Titler. |
