Photoshop- related websites fall into the following general categories:

Art sites showcase what can be accomplished with Photoshop.
Competition sites sponsor Photoshop image contests in which you can demonstrate your creativity in competition with others. Many competitors at these sites are happy to share their techniques.
Forum sites have user forums where your questions can be answered by other users.
Links sites give links to other useful sites, and are updated more often than this book can be.
Plug-ins sites offer downloadable plug-ins or information about plug-ins.
