Chapter 12. Mobile GroupWise Access

One of the best features of GroupWise is its ability to provide access to your information ” anywhere , anytime . For example, you could be visiting relatives and need to check your Address Book for a phone number. You can simply start a Web browser, open the GroupWise WebAccess client, and look in your address books for the number you need.

With the advent of wireless personal digital assistants (PDAs), this need for mobile access to GroupWise has greatly increased. Novell has met this need by building into the GroupWise system the ability to access your GroupWise information from any PDA that can access the Internet.

We will explore both the WebAccess and wireless client experiences in this chapter, starting with WebAccess.
