Test Low-Fidelity Prototype with Users (Process Notes 5.3.2)

This task is ideally done in parallel with the task of building the prototype because the process of building a Low-Fidelity prototype makes the business problem clear to the user. Review the objective of the prototype, and ask whether the prototype is leading you toward satisfying this objective.

Ask questions like these:

  • Is any information missing from the prototype?

  • Are the business rules correct?

  • Does the prototype cover the intended context of the prototype?

Identify any prototype modifications that are necessary to bring the prototype closer to satisfying the objective of the prototype. If you have satisfied the objective of the prototype, then the usage feedback will consist of user comments, new requirements, and requirements changes that emerge as a result of using the prototype.
