C.1 Installing the Intranet-Based Software

The software provided with this book can be downloaded from the following URL: http://books.elsevier.com/digitalpress. Search for the title and the software can be retrieved. It is provided as is, and no support for using it is provided by the author. A single directory named /enterprise is found in the zip file. This directory contains a Web created using Microsoft FrontPage 2002. All of the files needed to use the Web are broken down in the standard FP2002 subdirectory structure. Template documents and files are stored in the directory labeled /_private. The directory labeled /images contains all graphics used for the Web page development. These graphics may be modified to suit user needs.

Copy the /enterprise directory to your hard drive and open the Web using FrontPage 2000. The software may ask if you wish to convert this directory to a FrontPage Web. If so, say yes. Once converted, you may use FrontPage to publish the Web to any location you desire. The contents of the Web may be used or modified only in accordance with the end-user license agreement that accompanies the archive file and is reprinted below for your convenience.
