8.4 Develop Support Plan

A support plan outlines how problems will be handled once the software is released. The support plan should be tailored to the needs of different audiences as appropriate for the tasks they may be asked to perform. At a minimum, it is recommended that the support plan contain the following:

  • Software Configuration Management Plan

  • Service Level Agreements

  • Help Desk Checklists
