Using Quick Select Sets

You'll often want to select the same group of points or the same objects repeatedly. However, making these selections more than once can be tedious. It's much more time-efficient to save the selection as a Quick Select Set. A set allows you to group objects without affecting their position in the hierarchy. Quick Select Sets are also added to the Edit > Quick Select Sets menu, which lets you conveniently select all the objects in that set.

To create a Quick Select Set:

1.

Select multiple objects in object mode, or select multiple points in component mode.

2.

Choose Create > Sets > Quick Select Set (Figure 5.30).
