Select the deformer handle of the deformer you wish to delete (Figure 13.56).

Select Edit > Delete, or press .
To delete a deformer but keep the deformations on the surface:
1.
Select the object with the deformer you wish to delete (Figure 13.57).

Select Edit > Delete by Type > History.
The deformer is deleted but the object is locked into its deformed state.
To show all deformers:
From the Display menu select Show > Show Deformers > All (Figure 13.58).

To hide all deformers:
From the Display menu select Hide > Hide Deformers > All (Figure 13.59).

Tip
In addition to showing all of the deformers, you can individually show many object types such as lattices, sculpt objects, cluster handles, and nonlinear deformer handles.
