Although it has been a little slower to catch on in the United States, text messaging has been quite the rage in Europe and Japan for some time. A subset of U.S. business users have realized the impact of text messaging, thanks to the surprising popularity of BlackBerry text-messaging devices. As with newer BlackBerry devices, the Treo 600 and 650 represent a new generation of devices that combine a mobile phone with a true text-messaging device, including a full QWERTY keyboard. If you aren't already a text-messaging junkie, be prepared. It can certainly be addictive!
