NetCOBOL for .NET's documentation comes in three parts : a ReadMe file, a lan guage reference manual, and a user 's guide.
The ReadMe file is a simple HTML page that gives you information about the product, tips on getting started, and any limitations discovered too late to be built into the user's guide. You access it by clicking the Start button and selecting Programs Fujitsu NetCOBOL for .NET menu.
NetCOBOL for .NET comes with a typical COBOL language reference manual. For the most part, this manual documents the standard COBOL syntax that you are familiar with. It also contains a chapter that defines all the .NET- related syntax. This manual is provided in PDF form and is also accessed by clicking the Start button and selecting Programs Fujitsu NetCOBOL for .NET menu.
The user's guide for the product is provided in VS .NET Help format. It provides a lot of how-to information on using .NET features and standard information on using NetCOBOL. You access this guide from VS .NET's Help menu or Microsoft's Visual Studio .NET documentation function.
