Electrical

The deployment team also must consider the AP's electrical needs. For large deployments, consider using APs with Power over Ethernet (PoE) capability. APs with PoE obtain their power via the standard Category 5 or 5e cabling.

When you go with APs with PoE, you can use a single cable installation, which dramatically improves your choice of mounting configurations because you no longer need to consider AC power outlet locations. PoE support makes it easier than ever to overcome installation problems with difficult-to-wire or hard-to-reach locations.

If PoE is not an option, then lay out the cash for a certified electrician to run the proper electrical wiring to all areas that don't have a readily available electrical outlet. Don't use extension cords!
