Import and export trade

Paints imported in 2000 were mainly automobile paints , automobile patching coatings, high-grade building coatings, speciality coatings, furniture coatings, and other high-grade products, while those exported were mostly low-grade, solvent-based coatings. 180,000 tons of coatings were imported and 75,000 tons exported in 2000.
