If you have read Parts I through V of the book, you're probably more than ready to get your Flash movies uploaded to your Web server to share with your visitors. This chapter shows you how to create Flash movies (.swf files) from Flash 8 so that your Flash movies can be played with the Flash Player plug-in or ActiveX Control for Web browsers. We'll show you how to test your Flash movies, prepare Flash movie options, and adjust other output formats from Flash 8, such as HTML documents and image formats.
New Feature | In this chapter, you also learn how to take advantage of Flash 8's new Flash Player detection option. If you were familiar with Flash MX 2004's detection feature, you find that Macromedia has reduced the complexity of the feature, without sparing efficiency. |
