You can force a Macintosh computer to search for a NetBoot server at startup by holding the N key when you turn on the computer. When you start a computer in this manner, it always chooses the default image on the NetBoot server. There can be only one default image among all your NetBoot servers, so choose wisely.
1. | Choose /Applications/Server/Server Admin (Figure 11.53).
The Server Admin utility opens.

2. | Connect and authenticate to the server you intend to configure (Figure 11.54).

3. | Select NetBoot from the service list, click the Settings button, and then click the Images tab (Figure 11.55).

4. | In the Default column, select the radio button next to the image you want to make the default NetBoot image (Figure 11.56).

5. | Click the Save button.
