New data-mining algorithm expected to be included in the Analysis Services 2005 release. Can be used to quickly mine data against noncontinuous variables.

Neural Network

Software that closely resembles the way a human brain thinks by simulating neurons that communicate with one other. Simulated neurons are assigned weights which the program adopts through a process of training or learning.

Process whereby a computer parses and interprets human language in the same way a human would. Extracts meaning not only by identifying words but by interpreting the sentence structure.
