Step 1: Use the Model Update Tool to Reverse Engineer the Visual C++ or Visual Basic Code

Once you complete your code in Visual C++ or Visual Basic you need to update the model to reflect any changes. This can be accomplished by using the Model Update tool. You can also use this tool to create an initial model for existing code.

Step 2: Evaluate the Errors

When the reverse engineering process is complete, the Summary window is displayed in the Model Update tool. The Summary tab contains information about the generated code and all code generation errors are written to the Log, which can be viewed by selecting the Log tab of the Summary window.

The Summary window is shown in Figure B-8.
