Get(RecordNumber)

Syntax: Get ( RecordNumber )

Parameters: none

Description: Returns a number that represents the position of a record in the current found set. This value changes depending on the found set and the sort order.

Examples:

 Get (RecordNumber) 

returns 1 for the first record in the found set.

Returns 83 for the 83rd record in a found set of 83 records.

Comments:

Get (RecordNumber) tells you a record's position within the found set. This is useful in situations where you want to hide the status area but still want to allow users to see where they are within a set.

To determine a unique and permanent record ID, use Get (RecordID) .
