Jeff Prosise makes his living programming Windows and teaching others how to do the same. Soon after receiving a B.S. in mechanical engineering from the University of Tennessee in 1982, he purchased his first PC and embarked upon a hobby that would eventually become his career.
Today Jeff spends his working hours writing books about programming and articles for PC Magazine and Microsoft Systems Journal, teaching MFC programming and COM programming classes through David Solomon Expert Seminars, providing consulting services for companies who write Windows software, and developing software of his own. He speaks at programming conferences around the world and takes time out whenever possible to enjoy his three children—Adam, Amy, and Abigail. He considers himself one of the luckiest people alive not only because he has been blessed with good health and a wonderful family, but also because he can earn a living by doing what he enjoys the most.
