Beyond the cool effects you can create with DHTML, you can also plug full-fledged mini-applications into your Web pages. Known as Web components , they will seamlessly give your pages huge amounts of interactivity without you writing a single line of code.
Web components can be as simple as interactive buttons , or as complex as a full newsfeed from a popular news site.
NOTE
Don't go overboard with a lot of Web components on a single page. As cool as they are, using too many will really slow down the load time for your page.
Usually, editing a Web component is done by using the same tools that created it, as you will see in this section.
