Up until this chapter, we have focused on planning, designing, implementing, and migrating to a Windows Server 2003 environment. This chapter looks at the logging and debugging tools available for Windows Server 2003 that help an organization identify and isolate problems in its networking environment. Many of the tools identified in this chapter are similar to those used in a Windows 2000 or even a Windows NT4 environment; however, as with most features of the Windows server family of products, the features and functions of the tools have been improved and expanded in the Windows Server 2003 operating environment. |
