Phantom Power

The VS-1680 can power two condenser microphones using its own phantom power at +48 V. The two XLR inputs are the only ones that can be used with the internal phantom power. There is a switch on the VS-1680 that turns the phantom power on and off. It is located on the back of the unit, on the left side of the two XLR inputs.

Use These Phantom Power Precautions

Only turn on the phantom power when the VS-1680 is turned off. Also, you should not use phantom power with dynamic microphones, as this can result in damage to your equipment.
