Before you apply a class with the Type menu or the CSS palette, you can get a quick preview to help you make the right text styling decisions (Figure 121). For example, when you place your cursor over the Inline Style and Block Style checkboxes for a moment, a small preview window will pop up and show you an accurate preview of how the style will appear when applied in different ways. Figure 121. This preview takes the guesswork out of applying CSS styles.
At the top of the preview is a nicely written description of how the style will be applied. In the middle is a visual preview of how the style will appear when applied as an inline style, block style, or when applied to a specific HTML element. The comprehensive list of properties at the bottom shows an accurate cascade of all the styling information that will make the CSS gurus drool. |
