TIP 106: Converting Single Pages

If you see something on the Web that you really want to keep in a format that's easy to store, search, print, and share, then PDF is a great option. If you own Acrobat Standard or Acrobat Professional you can use the Web Capture feature in those applications to convert any Web page or Web site to PDF, but if you only have GoLive this trick is for you.

First choose File > Server > Download Page and type in the URL of the page you want to capture (Figure 106a). Click Save As, and GoLive will download all the files used by the page and reassemble the design for you right inside GoLive.

When you have the page you want in GoLive, switch to PDF Preview (Figure 106b) and click the Save as PDF button in the toolbar. Voila, there's your PDF.
